A pale, softly variegated neutral from an earlier summer batch of Pale Basin.

This skein is listed as a Misfit because it sits outside the original dye lot enough that I would rather offer it for exactly what it is: a perfectly usable, perfectly lovely hand-dyed oddball with its own slightly different version of the colorway.

ABOUT HAND-DYED YARN

Each skein is dyed by hand in very small batches, so variation between skeins is part of the process. Even skeins dyed together may differ slightly in depth or placement of color. For larger projects, alternating skeins every couple of rows can help blend those natural variations.

After dyeing, yarn is thoroughly rinsed, given a final soak with wool wash, spun out, and air-dried in my studio. Some residual dye release can occasionally occur, particularly with darker or more saturated colors.

CARE

Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool-safe wash. Avoid agitation and sudden temperature changes. Lay flat to dry.
