How much is shipping?

How soon will my order ship?     

Orders will ship within five days under normal circumstances.

Do you offer yarn support to designers?

I currently do not offer yarn support for designers as my inventory is intentionally limited and exclusive to shop updates.

Do you sell wholesale?     

I do not offer my yarn wholesale. All Fiber for the People yarn is sold exclusively at fiberforthepeople.com during regular shop updates.

Do you do dye-to-order or special orders?

Currently, FFTP operates on a bi-monthly shop update schedule only. Any FFTP yarn is sold exclusively through these updates.

How am I supposed to purchase a larger quantity of FFTP yarn when shop updates sell out so quickly?

I am a single-person operation. I do not have a team of dyers or a commercial dye studio. I dye and process each and every skein myself from my home studio and office. I am not expanding my business beyond my current capacity therefore what I bring to my updates is what will be available. Sometimes that will provide for sweater quantity purchase—sometimes it will not. That is the nature of FFTP yarn.

Will you reserve listings?

As a fairness to all Fiber for the People customers, all items are listed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

I made multiple orders to avoid losing out on an item.  Can you combine the shipping for those orders?

If I have not shipped your first order, I will gladly combine your orders and refund any shipping overages.

I forgot to use my coupon code.  Can you refund the difference?

I will gladly apply your coupon code if the discount is still eligible for use.  Simply contact me with your order number and eligible coupon code and I will refund the overage.

If I purchase yarn from you, will I be charged customs fees?

Unfortunately customs fees are part of many overseas purchases.  Though they may not be assessed every time you make international orders, they will happen eventually. Fiber for the People® is not responsible for any customs fees you may be asked to pay on receipt of your item.  Please be advised of your country's Customs Duty policy prior to making a purchase.  

Do you offer (insert yarn type/base) in your shop?

I offer a small variety of yarn bases in my shop during regular updates and these yarn bases change frequently—some being one time offerings, others being more regular (for example, Kid Mohair/Silk is a regular offering). I choose bases for my collections that I think pair well with the colorways in each collection and that support the source of inspiration for each collection. Can I purchase your yarn bases undyed?

No. It is not possible to purchase undyed FFTP yarn bases.

I'll be visiting your town soon.  Can I purchase yarn from you and pick it up while I'm there?

I'm sorry, but Fiber for the People is an online-only business (I work entirely from my home) and all sales are completed online and shipped out from my home.  

I forgot to grab a skein while I was shopping.  Can you add it to my order?

I am unable to manually add items to any order so it is necessary to order the yarn separately.  However, I will combine the shipping and refund any overages in this case as long as your initial order has not yet shipped.
