Stringlight Toast (smoked gold) Branden's JAM BAND Collection

Stringlight Toast (smoked gold) Branden's JAM BAND Collection
A warm, toasted gold with deep smoky marks and earthy splashes throughout. It feels rustic, road worn, and a little woodsy, like festival dust, camp chairs, and a sweater tied around your waist because you swore it wouldn’t get cold.

These hand dyed socks are part of a new experimental series in the shop that Branden and I are developing together. I’m still learning how color behaves on finished socks and getting a feel for the amount of dye each pair wants, which means these first batches are especially one of a kind. A lot of these sock colorways are shaped by the things we’re enjoying at the time, whether that’s books, music, games, or other creative rabbit holes, so each release has the potential to feel a little different. Not every colorway will be available in every size, and once a pair is gone, it is gone.
Most of these socks feature a small white stripe along the top cuff, similar to the sport stripe on a classic tube sock. That detail comes from the way we bind each pair together in the dye pans, which helps keep the socks connected as we work. We loved the look of it enough that it is becoming a little signature of Fiber for the People socks.
Lightweight, cozy, and easy to wear, these socks are made for everyday comfort. They are not thick boot socks, but rather a softer, lighter sock that works beautifully with everyday shoes or for padding around the house. My family has worn these and loved them. They are comfortable, durable, and hold up beautifully with gentle washing.
Because these are hand dyed, each pair will vary slightly in placement and intensity of color. That variation is part of what makes them special.
